Under applicable regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, tourist accommodation facilities must register guest details with the official Shomoos platform. When booking, we therefore ask for the following identity details: ID type and number (National ID / Iqama / Passport / GCC ID), nationality, date of birth and gender — and for passports, the expiry date and issuing country.

• These details are used exclusively to issue your accommodation contract and register your stay with the competent authorities and the property-management system.
• They are never used for marketing and are never shared with any commercial third party.
• They are stored encrypted and shown in your account and the facility dashboard only to the minimum extent necessary.
• You may request access to or correction of these details; note that retaining them for a defined period may be legally required.

We use technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption, to keep your data secure. However, no method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure.

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team.
